2. Hosting and website delivery

This website is delivered as a static website through Cloudflare Pages. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed so the site can be provided securely and reliably. This can include IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information and technical security events.

3. Contact form

If you use the contact form, the information entered there is processed. This includes company or organization, first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, topic, optional systems involved, optional timeline and message. Technical data required for secure form delivery is processed as well.

Processing is carried out to handle the inquiry, communicate with you and, if the inquiry relates to a possible collaboration, take pre-contractual steps. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general inquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR may also apply; the legitimate interest is the efficient handling of incoming inquiries.

Submitted data is stored only as long as necessary for handling the inquiry, subsequent communication or statutory retention obligations.

4. Spam and bot protection with Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect and prevent automated or abusive form submissions. On pages with a form, a script from challenges.cloudflare.com is loaded. According to Cloudflare, technical signals required for bot detection and security are processed for this purpose.

Turnstile is used only to protect the form, not for marketing, tracking or analytics. The optional Turnstile "pre-clearance" function, which can issue Cloudflare clearance cookies, is currently not used on this website.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is protecting the website, infrastructure and email communication from spam and abuse.

5. Email delivery through Resend

Resend is used for the technical delivery of contact form messages. When the form is submitted, the form contents are sent server-side to Resend so an email can be delivered to the configured contact address. Resend does not set browser cookies on your device through this process; processing concerns the form contents you submit and technical delivery data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message is required to handle an inquiry or pre-contractual communication. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR may additionally apply; the legitimate interest is reliable and traceable delivery of contact inquiries.

6. Email communication and Microsoft 365

Incoming inquiries and subsequent email communication are processed in a Microsoft 365 mailbox. This includes communication contents, contact details and technical email data. Microsoft provides privacy information at https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement .

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the communication is used to initiate or perform a contract. For general business communication, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR applies.

7. External links

This website links to external profiles and services, especially LinkedIn, Xing and RSS feeds. You leave this website only when clicking such a link. The respective providers are responsible for personal data processing on their external pages.

8. Cookies and consent-based services

This website currently does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. No cookie banner is shown because no optional consent-based services are actively embedded. If analytics, marketing pixels, embedded third-party content or similar services are added later, this privacy policy will be updated and consent will be collected where required.

9. Your rights

Within the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing activities. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that personal data is being processed in violation of data protection law.
